Tour Summary

35 Day Tour: Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa and Lesotho
This tour from Kilimanjaro to Cape Town is set to be an amazing adventure. Starting in Arusha we celebrate the beginning of our journey with a Safari into Ngorogoro Crater and Tarangire Park- this is some of the best wildlife viewing in the world

Next up we make our way down through Tanzania to Dar Es Salaam where we fly to Zanzibar for 2 nights. The “Spice Island” as it is affectionately known is surrounded by azure blue waters. The Arabian influence makes for spectacular ancient architecture and the diving and snorkelling are world class.

After returning from Zanzibar we carry on riding down through Tanzania and into Malawi where we spend 4 Wonderful days exploring Lake Malawi: “The Lake of Stars” this is the 3rd largest lake in Africa and is more like an inland ocean filled with unique fish- great for snorkelling

From Malawi we head across Zambia to the South Luangwa National Park for some epic Safaris before continuing to Victoria Falls, where we spend 2 magical days exploring the beautiful walkways surrounding the falls. Here we have included a helicopter flight – this is known as the flight of Angels…. At Victoria Falls you will also have the opportunity to do Optional activities such as the Devils pool swim, River Rafting or the walk with Lions tour.

Victoria Falls Tour

Next up we visit Chobe National Park- This is the only National Park in Africa where you can do a Big 5 Safari by boat. You will literally see thousands of elephants and other exciting wildlife coming down to drink at the Chobe River.

Chobe National Park

Botswana is one of the wildest countries we travel through and as we ride South you are guaranteed to see Elephants right off the side of the road. There are no fences here. We spend one night on the breath-taking Makgadigadi salt pans before reaching South Africa on day 22.

In South Africa we ride up into the mountains of Magobaskloof and down through “Bikers Paradise” to Hazyview stopping along the way to see wonderful view sites such as Bourkes Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels and the Blyde River Canyon. On our rest day in Hazyview we enjoy a safari into the world famous Kruger National Park

We then travel to Clarens and down through the Magical Golden Gate National park to Sani Pass on the southern end of the Drakensberg mountains. Here we have a rest day where you can attempt to ride the famous Sani pass into Lesotho. For those of you with limited dirt biking experience, a 4x4 tour will be arranged.

Next up we meet the Indian Ocean at East London and then ride into the Garden Route where we enjoy a safari into Addo Elephant National Park and visit the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park to walk along the sea cliff suspension bridges.

Garden Route

We have a rest day in Knysna to sail on the Lagoon and taste the local oysters before we continue to Oudtshoorn where we ride ostriches, visit the Cango Caves and ride up the famous Swartberg Pass. On our penultimate day we ride all the way to the Southern Most point of Africa at Cape Agulhas where we have a party to celebrate the end of our 8000km journey.

Oudtshoorn and Cape Agulhas

On our final day we follow coastal roads all the way to Cape Town, stopping in to see Penguins on the beach and admire the views over the Cape Point Peninsula. Wow! What a tour!!!
